There are other very good beaches in Cayo Largo. Close by to Villa Coral is the Capriccio/Iguana Beach that goes all the way to Playa Blanca. There is also a shuttle service to a really beautiful beach called Playa Sirena. This shuttle is free to hotel guests, you will have to check the timetable. Playa Paraiso near Playa Sirena is another beautiful beach. Most times you will be able to walk from Playa Sirena to Villa Coral, bring your water shoes as there are some tricky spots to negotiate and maybe bypass. It takes approximately 2 hours. The white sand is hardpacked and easy to walk on.
