We spend a lot of time walking the beaches of Cayo Largo. They are so beautiful and the sand is amazingly white and hard packed, hard packed sand makes it so much easier for walking. Although beaches do appear and disappear quickly, there is always great beaches somewhere on the island at any time. Playa Sirena never changes too much and neither does Playa Paraiso. We are lucky as the beaches were always first-class when we had our vacations. The only real problematic beach is at Playa Blanca, it can be iffy.
